The Reykjavík Tour

A small group tour with an experienced driver-guide in a mini-bus (max 8 pax)

 

The Tour: We will take a walk in the oldest part of Reykjavík, where all the main official buildings are. Then we will visit the main buildings outside the old center: Harpa (big music and conference house), Perlan (only outside) and Hallgrímskirkja.

 

We will also stop and take a look at outdoor works of two outstanding sculpturers: Sigurjón Ólafsson at the museum in Laugarnestangi, and at the museum of Ásmundur Sveinsson at Sigtún. Before we come to Sigtún we visit a place close to the Botanic Garden in Laugardalur, where the people of Reykjavík used to wash their clothes, in boiling water that streamed up from the ground.
